Abstract

Symptoms and signs of chlorotic leaf distortion of sweet potato (Ipomoea batatas) include a white superficial growth consisting of fungal hyphae and macroconidia of Fusarium on young leaves, followed by general chlorosis and, in some instances, twisting and distortion of leaves.
