Abstract

Antigens were prepared from four of the commonest organisms capable of causing mycetoma. By double diffusion in agar precipitating antibodies were demonstrated in all sera of humans (69) and animals (12) infected with these organisms. The antigens were entirely specific as between fungus and aerobic actinomycete, though there was cross reactivity between different species of the latter.
