Abstract
The robust tracking problem in two-degree-of freedom control systems is formulated in a general setting, which includes the case where the controlled output is not available directly. A complete solution of the problem, which is an extension of previous results, is derived in a considerably simplified and transparent manner. Furthermore we show what kind of information about the output is needed to achieve robust tracking.
