Abstract

This paper studies the finite-time static output feedback control for a class of nonlinear singular systems. Finite-time stability criterion for the closed singular systems is proposed by static output feedback technique. Based on the properties of structure of the singular system, static output feedback control gain is obtained by using singular value decomposition technique. Meanwhile, different from the existing results of normal systems, the presented scheme reduces the conservatism and complexity during the calculation process. Furthermore, static output feedback H∞ controller is designed and finite time stability criterion is proposed for the nonlinear singular systems with external disturbance. Finally, the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed strategy are illustrated by a circuit system simulation.
