Abstract

This paper presents some further results on the local stability of a recently developed Internet congestion control scheme, namely the loss ratio and rate control random early detection (LRC-RED) algorithm. Necessary and sufficient stability conditions in terms of key tuning parameters are derived, which can provide further guidelines for control gain selection. The numerical simulations are given to illustrate the correctness of the theoretical analysis.
