Abstract
Except for the extreme positions, a vibrating object passes twice through a position in each vibration cycle. It is suggested that this fact can be used to reduce the recording time during the pulsed illumination in stroboscopic holographic interferometry by providing two light pulses per vibration cycle for a given subject position.
