Abstract

Yangambin, epiyangambin and episesartemin were isolated from the leaves of Ocotea duckei Vattimo. They were identified and characterized by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometry (1 H and 13 C) with the aid of two-dimensional techniques (1 H- 1 H COSY-45 and HMBC). The presence of epiyangambin and episesartemin in Ocotea duckei has not been previously reported.
