Abstract
We have previously reported on the generation of color blur-free images from holograms in white light by using specially designed external spatial filters. The hologram is made in such a manner that it produces the image of the object in a plane located upstream with respect to the real image plane of its Fourier transform. In effect the hologram is recorded by using the regular off-axis geometry, and the chromatic correction is obtained by observation through an external spatial filter.
