Abstract

We reinvestigated the role of Coulomb and ρ potentials in the asymmetry of the neutron and proton pseudospin splitting along a Sn isotopic chain with the similarity renormalization group (SRG) method. We conclude that the effect of the Coulomb potential is small and the ρ potential gives the main contribution to the isospin asymmetry of the pseudospin energy splitting. This isospin asymmetry results from the great influence of the ρ potential on the dynamical term from the point of view of SRG method. However, the Coulomb potential also plays an important role in influencing the isospin asymmetry of the pseudospin wave function splitting.
