Abstract

This is a continuation of the report on improvement in snow‐survey apparatus in the Proceedings of the Western Interstate Snow‐Survey Conference at Pasadena, California, January 31, 1936, published in the Transactions of the American Geophysical Union, 1936 (pp. 550–557).Simplicity, universality, and durability are still being sought and urged upon designers and makers of instruments. Because of the need of efficiency under hardship conditions, price is still considered secondary.
