Abstract

Higher order elements (h.o.e.) are circuit elements that have been introduced to provide a logically complete formulation for nonlinear circuit theory. These circuit elements have been found to be particular cases of a more general class of nonlinear circuit elements which were named separable dynamic elements (s.d.e.). In this communication the state space description of s.d.e.-s as well as several synthesis methods based on generalized mutators are presented. >
