Abstract
Different from fixed delays between neurons, proportional delay is a time-varying unbounded delay. In this paper, the issue of finite-time stability of fractional-order neural networks with proportional delay is investigated. To address the proportional delay terms in the system, a new Gronwall-type inequality with delay is proposed. Based on this inequality, order-related criterion for finite-time stability of fractional-order neural networks with proportional delay is obtained. Finally, some numerical experiments demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the results.
