Abstract
Wu-Plot can qualitatively describe relationship between the size of a polymeric microsphere and the weight ratio of the monomer to the stabilizer.In other words,for polymeric particles stabilized by surfactant,ionic groups or polymer chains,the average surface area(S) occupied per stabilizer is a constant.Previous experiments reveal that Wu-Plot can be well applied to the nano-sized polymer particles with different stabilizer.In the present work,using the latest experimental results,we demonstrate that Wu-plot can also be used for micron-sized polymeric microspheres.
