Abstract
Elderly patients with pressure injury due to their own disease and more complications, the treatment of them are more difficult than ordinary patients and the mortality of them is significantly higher. It is the key of the prevention and treatment of elderly patients. Although a lot of manpower and material resources have been put into the prevention and treatment on pressure injury at present, the overall situation is still not optimistic. In recent years, with the deepening of understanding on pressure injury, the treatment methods have also been improved, especially in the prevention and treatment of pressure injury in the elderly. The authors review the latest definition and staging of pressure injury, elaborate the prevention and treatment measures of elderly pressure injury detailedly and to provide clinical reference for elderly patients of pressure injury suffering from various diseases.
