Abstract
The article touches on the theme of “Scandinavian style” in design. The practical experience of short-term interior design is summarised in the format of the competition “Project-Idea of the Interior”, held among students of the Department of Interior and Equipment of Saint Petersburg State Academy of Art and Design named after A. L. Stieglitz in the framework of the international project “Days of Danish Design”. The characteristic features of modern Danish design interior items are identified and described, the problem of their compatibility with the artistic interior solutions in different styles is considered.
