Abstract
Fur and leather products are regarded as the most significant type of household and artistic crafts in the traditional culture of Nenets and Khants, reflecting the relationship between the natural and cultural environment. The article is based on materials from the author's expeditions to the Nenets Autonomous Okrug and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
