Abstract
The aim of the study is to reveal and identify the harmful effects caused by fungi, and the various causes and types of fungi which are prevalent in the library environment. The inside spores in the air and the outside environment usually mixed with the weather conditions and lead to the generation of newly formed fungi. The survival of library staff and the users now days are challenging phenomena, though there is a remarkable use of electronic sources and the use of World Wide Web. It alarms the professionals to be very cautious and take remedial measures to subside the fungal infections.
