Abstract
This article is the result of an analysis of the diverse codes which govern professional performance in Costa Rica and thus are expressed within the daily routine of high school educators and staff. The text begins with an experience in an educational center of a university classroom; prompted by a reflection on adequate professional performance and one’s own technical competence within every profession.
