Abstract
Fundamental symmetries can be tested with neutron resonances. Parity nonconservation (PNC) can be studied through the mixing of nuclear resonances of the same spin but opposite parity. In favorable cases there is large enhancement of the PNC observables. PNC effects in epithermal neutron resonances are discussed. Proposed tests of time reversal invariance (TRI) violation with neutron resonances are briefly described.
