Abstract
Silicone Liquid is less-flammable and has less environmental pollution compared with mineral oil. Applicability of 20cSt Silicone Liquid to transformers was investigated from the viewpoint of insulation, cooling performance and the less-flammability evaluation.These results showed that the basic characteristics of 20cSt Silicone Liquid were verified in application to a less-flammable transformer.
