Abstract
The reduction of electrodeposited β-PbO 2 has been studied at the stationary and the RDE. Potential step and sweep experiments have been made. A model for the discharge process of PbO 2 has been proposed based on charge transfer and limited high field conduction. Electrometric confirmation of the theory is presented.
