Abstract

Labor disruptions, inflation, high interest rates, permitting delays, and long interconnection queues characterized the development and construction of new energy infrastructure in 2023. Terrestrial and offshore wind, solar, transmission, and hydrogen projects have been impacted most, and continued challenges are expected.
