Abstract
In this chapter we extend the theory developed in the previous one to functions of several variables defined on subsets of Open image in new window with values in \({{\mathbb R}}.\) In order to simplify the exposition, we will often concentrate on the case N = 2. It will not be so difficult for the reader to extend the various results to the case of a generic dimension N.
