Abstract
The article presents MELODIC/FUNCTIONIZER platform, developed to support serverless deployment. It is a complete cross-cloud, cloud-agnostic deployment platform with advanced, utility-based optimization and multi-layer and real time monitoring features. This platform exploits the modelling language CAMEL, which advances the state-of-the-art through its ability to cover all aspects relevant to the application life-cycle in a rich manner. The platform has been tested with a complex application for face recognition. These platform and the serverless architecture is stable and very scalable, and the results are very good in terms of resources and execution time.
