Abstract

Introduction: The indication for obliteration versus reconstruction in frontal sinus injuries with involvement of the nasofrontal duct remains controversial. The results following functional reconstruction of anterior wall fractures of the frontal sinus are demonstrated. Fractures with significant involvement of the posterior wall of the frontal sinus were excluded from the study and treated with revision of the anterior skull base and cranialization of the frontal sinus.
