Functional profiling of allergen-specific effector CD4+ T cells in mouse models of food allergy

Abstract

Allergen-specific T cells have demonstrated to be crucial in the course of food allergy. We hypothesized that the identification of allergen-specific T cells by using activation markers may allow their monitoring at effector sites. The aim of this study is to identify the functional profile of allergen-specific T cells a murine model of food allergy.
