Abstract
Background: In 2020 an estimated 184,615 new cases of laryngeal cancer were diagnosed worldwide1. Current evidence suggests no difference between endoscopic laser surgery (ELS) and radiotherapy (RT) with regards to oncological outcomes of early laryngeal cancer2. Patient management may therefore be directed towards voice and quality of life (QOL) outcomes.
