Abstract

Acute ischemic stroke due to basilar artery occlusion (BAO) is a life-threatening condition with a mortality up to 90% if left untreated. The current practice of recanalization therapy consists of pharmacological thrombolysis and endovascular mechanical thrombectomy. This study aimed to determine predictors of functional outcome in those patients.
