Abstract
A Volterra-Wiener functional scheme for solving nonlinear equations is presented. Several problems in plasma physics and thermonuclear fusion which can be solved accurately by using this method are discussed. A nonlinear kinetic-theory problem of plasma shocks is solved as an example.
