Abstract

Ovarian tissue cryopreservation is one of the options available to preserve fertility in cancer patients and to allow them to conceive when they have overcome their primary disease. The publication of a report by Anderson and colleagues documenting live births in three women arising from ovarian cortical strips that had been transplanted more than 7years previously represents an apparent further advance in this field.
