Function and Application Strategy Analysis of Installation Art in Urban Public Space

Abstract

With the steady improvement of China's social economy, the construction industry has been well developed, people's quality of life has been continuously improved, and people have a new understanding of the artistic vision of architecture. Nowadays, installation art has a good development prospect and application role in urban public space, which can effectively stimulate people's consumption psychology and improve economic benefits. A good installation art will attract customers' eyes, and then enhance their interest. Installation art itself is a manifestation of human thinking, and it can make social and economic activities resonate with it. Generally speaking, installation art is an art form, which can not only reflect the development of urban society, history and culture, but also reflect people's basic needs, and is a perfect combination of various arts. Installation art not only satisfies people's artistic appreciation, but also creates favorable conditions for urban public space, and brings different artistic experiences to the city and people.
