Abstract

This paper studies event-triggered affine formation maneuver control problem for general linear multi-agent systems over directed graphs. Unlike most existing papers where a diagonal stabilizing matrix is required to achieve affine localizability and require continuous communication, this paper presents a novel adaptive dynamic event-triggered protocol, which is fully distributed, independent of any global information of the network topology, and under which the agents only need to sample and communicate with their neighbors at discrete time instants.
