Abstract

This article is about full duplex power line communication system. Traditional systems of power line communications operate using a time or frequency duplex. The use of a full duplex will allow up to 2 times the spectral efficiency. Full duplex technology was originally proposed for wireless communication systems, but it can be successfully applied in power line communication system. Overview of analog compensation methods produced. The concept and problems of building a full duplex power line communication system are described. An experimental research of the achievable compensation level for various schemes for constructing an analog compensation system for a full-duplex power line communication system was made. Factors affecting the cancellation level are described, including tunable attenuator, phase shifter and delay line tuning error. This paper also presents assessment of the achievable level of analog cancellation full duplex power line communication system. The obtained results indicate the possibility of using full duplex technology in power line communication systems.
