Abstract
Following this Workshop, participants should be able to cite statistics on the scope of the current refugee crisis, understand the critical components of a forensic evaluation to support asylum claims of children and families fleeing torture and persecution, conduct a culturally sensitive and trauma-focused asylum interview, compose a report that can be used in court, and engage with local immigration attorneys and grassroots organizations to begin this work.
