Abstract
The most recent work done on the Columbia 16-node machine is a calculation of the thermodynamics of high mass ( ma = 2.0 … ∞) Kogut Susskind fermions on an 8 3×2 lattice. We observe the disappearance of any evidence for a first order phase transition as the mass is decreased below ma = 4.0.
