Abstract

Inter-Universal Teichmüller theory applies mono-anabelian algorithms to algebraic fundamental groups in one universe to obtain descriptions of objects constructed from those groups in another. Ivan Fesenko describes Shinichi Mochizuki's theory and new concepts such as frobeniods and Hodge theatres.
