Abstract

Argues that new military aircraft will benefit from a fuel control system that is technically superior to that of the present day, and is also geared to match the yet‐to‐be‐introduced maritime patrol aircraft, Nimrod 2000's aircraft‐engine combination. Charts the case of RoSEC, a company formed in 1993 to provide complete full‐authority digital engine control systems. Claims that the new “total responsibility” approach will bring significant fuel system advantages in the commercial and military aerospace sector.
