Abstract

An intracavity laser absorption installation in which the emission of the dye is analyzed with a commercial FT spectrometer is described. The pumping of the dye laser is modulated synchronously with the sampling of the interferogram in order to control the generation time of the laser. A total of 318 line positions belonging to some very weak bands of the B- X transition of natural chlorine and 37Cl 2 in the region 16 000–16 470 cm −1 are reported for the first time.
