Abstract

The phase diagrams and the magnetizations of a graphene-like nanoisland described by the transverse Ising model are investigated by the use of the effective-field theory with correlations. The nanoisland is constructed from twenty-six spin-1/2 magnetic atoms with three types of exchange interactions. In this work, the possibility of reentrant phenomena in the system is particularly examined.
