Abstract

Organic material preserved in a post-Medieval latrine produced evidence for a wide range of cultivated plants. These included fruits, nuts, potherbs and at least one species of garden flower. Wild plants were also present and included mainly plants of cultivated and disturbed ground, and plants of wet ground.
