Abstract

In the published paper I invited scrutiny of the results discussed. One conclusion of the feedback from readers is that the 'clock hypothesis' in special relativity (i.e. the assumption that relativistic time dilation is not influenced by accelerations) is considered to be strictly valid. If so, then obviously any idea of frozen time affected by the accelerations involved in hyperbolic motion as discussed in the article is impossible. Against this background I thus retract my paper and apologize for whatever confusion it may have caused.
