Abstract
The ideal hydrogen bonding ability of the ureido group leads to unique functions. In their review on page 5601, M. Yamanaka et al., summarize recent developments of urea derivatives that exhibit various functions: i) supramolecular capsules, ii) supramolecular polymers, iii) supramolecular gels, iv) artificial host molecules, and v) catalytic reactions.
