Abstract

Thermomorphic Multiphase Systems (TMS) enable the application of transition metal catalysts in a homogeneous reaction environment with subsequent separation of catalyst and products after reaction. A change in temperature is used to switch from monophasic to biphasic mixtures. Common solvents and catalysts without distinct modification allow for straightforward application of TMS. This concept extends the toolbox of homogeneous transition metal catalysis in chemical process technology. For more details, see the Review article by J. M. Dreimann et al. on page 11586 ff.
