Abstract

For the organic π-conjugated materials, the photoluminescent properties in solid state could be greatly affected by the aggregation structures and molecular packing modes. Organic crystals have well-defined aggregation structures, such as H-aggregate, J-aggregate, X-aggregate, aggregation-induced emission (AIE), and co-crystals, which can provide appropriate experimental media to study the structure-property relationship.
