Abstract

In this review, we summarize the developments in the field of metal-catalyzed haloalkynylation reactions. In these C−C coupling reactions, both an alkynyl unit and a halogen atom are transferred with atom economy to unsaturated compounds such as arynes, alkenes and alkynes resulting in the formation of halogenated products.
