Abstract
The current research status of BiVO4-constituted photo(electro)catalytic systems for solar overall water splitting (OWS) is reviewed in this paper. Herein, effective charge carrier utilization is illustrated as the mainline, in which charge separation, charge transfer and surface catalytic reaction are detailly summarized towards the construction of efficient solar OWS systems.
