Frontiers in Medicinal Chemistry 2009—a Summary of the Meeting at Heidelberg University

Abstract

The Joint German–Swiss Meeting on Medicinal Chemistry was attended by top scientists from industry and academia. Topics included recent developments in the fields of specific drug targets such as kinases and nuclear hormone receptors, cardiovascular disease, novel approaches for CNS pharmacotherapy, new technologies for drug targeting and drug development, and a variety of current highlights in medicinal chemistry.
