Abstract

The Front Cover shows a drop of rhodium nanoparticles in an ionic liquid, which can perform selective reductions depending on the hydrogen source. With dihydrogen, represented by the sky in the middle, carbonyl groups are reduced. The use of formic acid as triethylamine azeotrope, represented by the sea in the middle, enables sustainable multistep reactions for the synthesis of pyrroles and amines. The versatility of the rhodium nanoparticle drop improves the activity and selectivity of important catalytic processes. More information can be found in the Full Paper by I. Guerrero-Ríos et al.
