Abstract

The Front Cover illustrates the twin polymerization of [Mg(2-OCH2-cC6H4O)][L]n forming interpenetrating inorganic-organic hybrid materials, which, upon thermal treatment, produce porous magnesium oxides. The yellow and white road signs on the left symbolize the synthesis of the respective twin monomers with the tornado standing for their polymerization. The conversion of the thus formed hybrid materials to diverse MgO-based systems is displayed within the tornado vortex. The green interchange road sign on the right side symbolizes possible applications, such as the Meerwein-Pondorff-Verley reduction for pure MgO or the generation of the nanoparticle-loaded MgO-materials Ag@MgO and CuO@MgO. More information can be found in the Research Article by H. Lang and co-workers.
