Abstract

The cover design shows a Chinese fairy tale “Carp jump over the dragon gate”. There was a Dragon Gate on the Yellow River. Carps could jump over it and turn into dragons, which means that everyone should conquer some difficulty before success. Herein, this design illustrates the Rhodium(III)-catalyzed C−H bond intramolecular annulations and proton transfer strategy. The “dragon gate” represents the energy to be overcome in the catalytic cycle. The “leaping carp” represents the intramolecular annulation and proton transfer progress, indicating that the carp would become a dragon (products) after it crosses the dragon gate (energy).
